Dr. Gurajada joined as an Assistant Professor in Department of Telugu, Central university of Andhra Pradesh in September 2023.
Before joining CUAP, he served as an Assistant professor in Department of Telugu, University of Silicon Andhra, Milpitas, California, USA.
He worked as a Senior Linguist in a Project entitled ‘Bahu- Bhashak’ under Natural Language Translation Mission funded by Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MEITY), Govt. of India.

Published two books in ‘Manucharitra: Vyaktitva Vikasam and Andhra Maha Bharatham: Adhunika Jeevitam 2020 and 2023 respectively.
Published 11 Research articles on UGC recognized and peer reviewed journals.
Presented Research papers in 6 National and International seminars.
Edited 5 books during 2021- 2023.
Participation in one National level workshop and a Faculty Development program.

He was awarded Smt. K. Kameswari Devi memorial Gold Medal for Best Telugu Thesis (2020- 2021) in PhD, Department of Telugu, UOH, from the Hon’ble Minister of Human Resource and Development, India Shri. Dharmendra Pradhan in 2022.
He was awarded the University of Hyderabad Gold Medal for securing first position in 5 Year Integrated Telugu (I.M.A Telugu) from then Hon’ble Governor of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Shri. E. S. L. Narasimhan in 2014.
He was awarded with two Achievers’ Awards from Hon’ble President of India, Late. Shri A. P. J Abdul kalam and Shri. D. Subbarao, Governor (RBI) for his Academic excellence in I.M.A.Telugu Course (2009- 14) respectively.
He had received a Merit Award from Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund for his Academic excellence in I.M.A.Telugu Course.
